HARNEY COUNTY-The lower part of the South Steens Loop Road is freshly graded and ready to go. You can now access the South Steens Family and Equestrian Campgrounds, explore Big Indian Gorge Overlook, visit the historic Riddle Brothers Ranch, and see wild horsesโsome with new foals! Wildflowers are starting to bloom, and you might even spot Bighorn Sheep along the rocky cliffs while in route.
Keep in mind that higher parts of the Loop Road are still closed due to snow. Follow https://ow.ly/RX1A50VToSB for current conditions.
