OLYMPIA – The Washington State Department of Health is says the four sites operated by DOH in the state have now administered 111,072 doses of vaccine, thanks to local and private sector partners as well as the Washington National Guard.
Leading the count is the Benton County Fairgrounds in Kennewick. A total of 31,638 COVID19 vaccine doses were given. This week, Kennewick will administer both first and second doses. Those who need help scheduling appointments may call 800-525-0127 and press #.
When people arrive for their shots, they must show proof of an appointment. The second dose must be administered at the same site.
The Kennewick site is administering the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, with a second dose required after 21 days.
Appointments are available Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
