Stanfield Secondary School holding bonfire tonight

STANFIELD – Stanfield Secondary School is hosting it’s annual homecoming bonfire Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. behind Stanfield Elementary School on Main Street.

Umatilla County Fire District No. 1 says residents should not be alarmed if they see or smell smoke in that area. Fire prevention measures including hoses and farming discs will be in place.

UCFD1 also wants to let residents know that Hermiston High School will hold their homecoming bonfire on Monday, Sep. 29 at 6 p.m. at the softball field.
