Sr. Officer Mike Eckhart retired recently from the La Grande Police Department

LA GRANDE– The La Grande Police Department (LGPD) bid farewell to Sr. Officer Mike Eckhart last week. Eckhart retired after 25-years of dedicated service to the La Grande Police Department and the City of La Grande.
Information from LGPD said that “Sr. Ofc. Eckhart’s service as a police officer was notable and admirable. He made a positive impact in our community and in more lives than we know. What he did mattered!
Congratulations on your retirement… Job well done… and thank you for your service!”
