From Enterprise School Disrict
This weekend was all about grit, guts, and determination—and the OUTLAW athletes delivered in every way. They showed up, put in the work, left it all on the mat and court.
First, in Burns at District Wrestling Gunner McDowell took his place on top of the podium with 1st place. Trey beat the incoming champ early on and placed 2nd. Pearce batted the hard way and took 3rd. This earns those three athletes a spot to the State Tournament this coming weekend. James was so close with his 4th place finish. And Gunner and Shane closed out a great season both getting 5th place. The Outlaws finished 6th as a team.
In Pendelton, no challenge was too big, no obstacle too tough as the girls team took down Heppner who they previously hadn’t beaten to take 3 rd place in the BMC districts tournament. Thier grit earned them a trip to Bandon to take on the Tigers on February 28th at 6 o’clock for the first round of state playoff.
The Enterprise boy basketball team lost thier game opener in a come back, relentless effort, by 1 pt to Grant Union. They beat Heppner boys the next day to also take third in the tournament. The season acculmination earned them a HOME game VS the Salem Academy Crusaders on March 1st at 6 p.m. Stay tuned for more information!
