Soroptimist International of La Grande Donates to Local Organizations

LA GRANDE – $58,000 was presented to two different organizations yesterday during a meeting of Soroptimist International of La Grande.

La Grande Parks and Rec Director Stu Spence was on hand to accept a $50,000 donation. The funds will go towards the Riverside Playground Replacement Project.

An $8,000 donation was presented to Patrick Flynn, Executive Director of the Grande Ronde Hospital Foundation. These funds will go towards the construction of a prep and recovery room in the new surgical services building of Grande Ronde Hospital.
