LA GRANDE – The La Grande Soroptimist of La Grande continue to look for applicants from local women and girls for various projects that may make a difference in their lives or someone else’s. For the past 35 years the Soroptimist have been hosting the Festival of Trees which brings in thousands of dollars in net proceeds to help the community. This year the grant program has over $30,000 to offer applicants. The application process remains open until all of the funds are awarded.
