Snowfall delays campground and recreational rentals opening on The Malheur National Forest

John Day, Prairie City and Hines-With heavier than normal snowfall this winter on the Malheur National Forest, officials want to advise the public of a delay in opening campgrounds and recreational rentals. May 1st is the traditional date that these recreational opportunities start opening for the season, but with limited access at this time that date will be delayed.
