GRANT COUNTY – Crews have been busy on our highways since early this morning. Plows were called into action on our high elevation passes, plus several reports of obstructions in the roadway were called into dispatch earlier today. The report of a rock fall came in near Picture Gorge on U.S. Highway 26, west of Dayville. They’ve since been removed, but initially the rocks were reportedly too large for motorists to get out of the way. Also, the report came in of two large trees blocking U.S. Highway 395 B north of Mt. Vernon. Those have also been removed, and the highways through Grant County are clear as of 11:45am.

Use caution on the roadways and follow Elkhorn Media Group outlets for updates.
