WHEELER COUNTY – Wheeler County Fire & Rescue report that fire crews were dispatched last Friday, May 3rd, to two fires. First, firefighters responded to an incident caused by a downed power line in the Clarno area of Wheeler County. Nothing further was released on that incident.
Later that afternoon, crews were dispatched to a spreading brush fire north of Spray. Wildcad.net reports the Henry wildfire grew to approximately one acre in size before resources had it contained.
