Small fire near Snake River quickly extinguished

WALLA WALLA COUNTY – Both Walla Walla County Fire District No. 8 and Walla Walla North County Fire responded to a fire Monday two miles upstream from Fishhook Park along the Snake River, about 24 miles west of Prescott.
Walla Walla County Fire Districts No. Five and Six also responded. Two helicopters also
helped work on the fire.
Walla Walla County Emergency Management Director Chris Lee says it was a small fire
and by Tuesday morning it was out.
