MALHEUR NATIONAL FOREST – Firefighting resources responded to the report of a smoke check, just south of Antelope Lookout near Tamarack Creek in southern Grant County on Monday.
The Tamarack Fire has been listed as controlled at .14 acres, according to wildcad.net. Nothing further was released on the incident. Fire Danger is currently LOW on the Prairie City and Blue Mountain Ranger Districts, and MODERATE on the Emigrant Creek Ranger District.
