BAKER COUNTY – Throughout the month of March, the Baker County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting saturation patrols in an effort to target speeding drivers and keep roadways safe.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 28% of fatal crashes in 2020 were speed related.
Remember to watch for speed limit signs and obey those signs, especially in school zones and residential areas. The goal of these saturations is to save lives.
Additional patrols are made possible by funding through Oregon Impact.
