Slash pile burning planned at MERA Thursday

UNION COUNTY — A heads up for Union County residents. The Union County Parks Department will be burning slash piles at the Mount Emily Recreation Area from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. tomorrow (January 29).
In case any smoke and flames are visible, residents should keep in mind that this is a planned burn and not an emergency.
