Oregon State responded to Wallowa Lake after receiving a report from a fisherman, that there was something suspicious about 45 feet down on the bottom of the lake. The fisherman described the object what looked like to be skeletal remains. After further investigation from OSP and the Wallowa Sheriff’s Office did not come up with human skeletal remains but did recover a plastic skeleton. Troopers said, if it was a prank or if someone just dumped the plastic skeleton in the lake.
