Single vehicle rollover crash in Harney County caused by icy conditions

Harney County-According to an Oregon State Police report, on Wednesday night of December 27, 2023, the Oregon State Police responded to a single vehicle rollover crash on Hwy 20 near mile post 158.
Investigation indicated that the following had occurred. An SUV driven by Michael Harrison, 24, of Salt Lake City, Utah, was westbound at 65 miles per hour. While negotiating a curve, he encountered icy conditions and began to fishtail. Harrison braked and lost control of the vehicle. The SUV left the roadway onto the soft, snow-covered eastbound shoulder. It flipped and came to a rest on its top.
Harrison suffered only a minor injury and refused medical attention. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
