BAKER CITY – (Information from Oregon State Police-Baker County ) The responded officer, “responded to a report of a single vehicle rollover crash near milepost 332 on Interstate 84 westbound. Upon arrival I saw a blue minivan (Unit 1) blocking both lanes with rollover damage. All occupants were outside of Unit 1 against the cement barrier, Several juvenile passengers had minor injuries and complaints of pain. Operator 1 advised that he fell asleep. Unit 1 left the roadway by way of the right shoulder. Unit 1 then came back onto the roadway after losing control on the shoulder and striking an ODOT highway sign. Unit 1 then came back onto the roadway and rolled. Unit 1 came to a point of uncontrolled rest on its wheels blocking the roadway. Evidence on scene was consistent with statements. Occupants were checked by ambulance staff. Occupants denied transport by ambulance. Baker Valley Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.”
