Signal modification at Rose/Colville intersection begins Monday

WALLA WALLA – The city of Walla Walla Public Works Department is advising drivers that work at the Rose Street and Colville Street intersection is set to begin on (tomorrow) Monday, February 24 with the removal of the existing traffic signal configuration.

The updated design will allow eastbound and westbound traffic on Rose Street to move continuously through the intersection while incorporating signalized pedestrian crossings. A controlled two-way intersection will replace the current traffic signals for northbound and southbound traffic on Colville Street.

Construction is expected to be completed by Friday, February 28.
