Seven Eastern Oregon FFA students earn 2023 SAE grants

NORTHEAST OREGON – Eastern Oregon FFA students are nothing if not ambitious in their projects. Of the 1,258 national applications for FFA Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) project grants, eight Oregon students were selected and will receive $1,000 dollars to assist with their projects. Of these eight recipients, seven of them are from Union and Wallowa County chapters, alongside one student from Lake County. The students and their grant sponsors are as follows:

  • Chelsie Thompson, North Powder FFA, Farm Credit
  • Lea Weston, North Powder FFA NAU, Country Insurance
