PENDLETON – Oregon State Police reports a crash on Interstate 84 eastbound at milepost 213 seriously injured Stephen Chandler Peterson, 71, of Pendleton late Wednesday morning.
According to the incident report, Peterson was traveling on a motorcycle and failed to realize eastbound traffic ahead of him was stopped. Peterson was ejected when he collided with a passenger car. His motorcycle then collided with a semi on the shoulder of the interstate.
Peterson was taken by air ambulance from the scene with serious injuries, according to the report. No injuries were reported by the couple from Arizona in the car nor to the semi driver from Wyoming.
