Series of webinars will help applicants and those planning to apply for safety grants

BAKER COUNTY – The Oregon Department of Transportation will be holding a series of webinars to help applicants and those planning to apply for the ODOT Safe Routes to School construction and education grant program funds and planning assistance programs. Below is a release issued by ODOT with information for those interested.

“Dear Safe Routes to School enthusiasts,

We’re excited to share our January – March 2022 calendar of events with you! We’re eager to help you learn how to apply for the ODOT Safe Routes to School construction and education grant program funds and planning assistance programs.

This coming spring and summer, the Oregon Department of Transportation will solicit proposals for the next round of Safe Routes to School construction funding, education funding, and planning assistance. In workshops and webinars, our staff will present a program overview and answer questions about this new opportunity. The presentation will cover SRTS program specifics including timeline, eligibility, proposal selection process, match requirements and proposal development tips.

Who should attend?

Target audiences include representatives from city, county and tribal governments, transit agencies, public schools and non-profits. All workshops, webinars and office hours are open to the general public.
