Seneca Elementary students are now the ‘Loggers’

SENECA – Grant School District #3 Superintendent Louis Dix was on KJDY’s Coffee Time Friday and informed listeners that Seneca Elementary School, in response to legislation changes, will be undergoing a name change from the former Seneca Indians:
“We have changed the name to the Seneca Loggers. I think that fits really nicely up there, we have a nice mill and we have a lot of families that are in the logging business. There was some excitement at the board meeting around that. So, that’s kind of fun news for them, and you’ll see some changes around that over the next year.”
