Senator Findley appointed to Oregon Global Warming Commission

VALE – Senator Lynn Findley has been appointed to the Oregon Global Warming Commission. In a memorandum yesterday to Senate President Peter Courtney announced the appointment as follows:

Effective immediately, in accordance with ORS 171.072, the following Senator is appointed to the Oregon Global Warming Commission.

Appointed: Senator Lynn Findley

When asked to comment on this appointment Senator Findley said, “It’s important to have rural and agricultural voices represented in discussions related to sustainable environmental policies and practices. I’m pleased to represent those voices on this commission and look forward to working with my colleagues.”
