Semi crash in Harney County on HWY 20

Harney County-On Wednesday January 4, 2023 about 2:20pm Oregon State Police responded to a report of a semi crash on HWY 20 near milepost 109. Investigation revealed that the semi truck being driven by Luke Moon, 53, was traveling westbound on HWY 20 about 40 MPH in blowing snow. The semi trucks windshield began to ice over and the driver had a difficult time seeing. Moon drove onto the should of the road and attempted to drive back onto the road. Doing this cause the semi truck to roll onto the passenger side.
Moon was trapped inside, uninjured and extricated by means of a ladder.
