WALLA WALLA – A College Place woman arrested with two others in connection with kidnapping, robbing, and assaulting a Walla Walla couple this summer was sentenced Monday afternoon in Walla Walla County Superior Court.
Billy Jo Dynes, 27, was sentenced to serve 123 days in jail in addition to receiving credit for 123 days already served prior to sentencing. She was charged with third-degree assault, two counts of unlawful imprisonment, felony harassment, third-degree theft, and harassment for assaulting and making threats against the couple on the night of July 27, then abandoning them near Prescott.
Police said the crimes committed against the couple were because of a debt the female victim allegedly owed. Dynes was arrested along with Arthur Waldon, 31, of Prescott and Brian Rosenkranz, 42, of College Place on August 5.
On Monday, Waldon entered a guilty plea and had amended information charging him with second-degree rendering criminal assistance. A speedy sentence was also waived, but Walla Walla County Chief Deputy Clerk Kathy Golden said she didn’t know when Waldon’s sentencing hearing would be set. Rosenkranz was sentenced last month.
