HARNEY COUNTY (Released from Malheur National Forest)-The Malheur National Forest has reduced the area closure surrounding the Second Flat Fire. To ensure safety during post-fire hazard reduction work, the reduced closure order will remain in place until December 31, 2026, unless rescinded sooner.
The reduced closure will affect Forest Service Road (FSR) 41 and FSR 4130.
FSR 41 will be closed starting at T22S R28E Section 23 at the junction of FSR 4707 and FSR 41 continuing northwest on FSR 41 until it intersects at the Forest boundary at T21S R27E Section 14.
FSR 4130 will be closed at the junction of FSR 41 at T21S R27E Section 25 and continues southwest until it intersects with the Forest boundary at T21S R27E Section 33.
