COLLEGE PLACE, Washington – The 2019 College Place Freedom Festival takes place this Sunday night at College Place High School from 6 to 10 p.m.

“It’s a free event and it’s going to be great fun for the entire family,” College Place Police Chief Troy Tomaras said.

Activities include a live concert by the band Splitting Atoms which Tomaras said performs everything from grunge music to songs from the 1980s and 1990s.

There’s also going to be a kids’ zone with a bouncy house, vendors, food trucks and a fireworks show.

Tomaras added the fireworks display will be bigger than last year’s inaugural Freedom Festival.
