Harney County Sheriff’s Office will continue to monitor the search area when able as part of their routine patrols.
Kaylee will remain in our hearts and prayers. We will continue to do our best to provide closure to Kaylee’s friends and family.
For those who wish to personally search the area, we strongly urge that you take proper precautions:
• Wear proper clothing and footwear for varying weather conditions.
• Pack extra food and water. Plan for refueling.
• Notify someone of your plans, including your expected return time.
• Be aware of the area’s remote, rugged terrain.
• Take necessary precautions for predators, such as cougars (seen during yesterday’s search).
