BAKER COUNTY – Multiple agencies took part in a regional training hosted by the Baker County Search and Rescue recently. This was held at Virtue Flats in Baker County and included teams from the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office, Umatilla County Search and Rescue, Union County Search and Rescue and Wallowa County Search and Rescue. According to the Baker County Sheriff’s Office, participants utilized ATV’s or side-by-sides and were sent to various coordinates and required to complete a task, which included providing first aid, tying knots, or searching for evidence.
