Search and Rescue called out for stranded motorist who was located in good condition

BAKER CITY – Baker County Search and Rescue was called out to Forest Service Road 16 near Unity yesterday after the Baker County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch received a report of a motorist stuck in the snow. Two additional individuals stopped to assist the motorist, when high winds downed a tree and blocked their path.  Around 11:45am, Search and Rescue was able to locate the stranded motorist who was uninjured and in good condition.
