PENDLETON – Applicants for superintendent of the Pendleton School District have until March 4 to turn in their applications. That’s also the deadline for citizens who want to be part of the hiring process.

“They are soliciting both staff members and community members to be part of a screening and input group that would be part of the semifinalist interviews,” retiring Superintendent Chris Fritsch said.

Application forms to serve on the panel are available at the district website at https://pendleton.k12.or.us/superintendent-search/.

“The board then will go through those applications for stakeholders to be part of the semifinalist process,” he said. April 4-6 are the dates set for the finalist interviews.
