Scammers are at it again in Harney County

Harney County-Once again Harney County Sheriff’s Office have received reports that scammers are spoofing Harney County Dispatch’s phone number 541-573-6156 and claiming to be one of their Lieutenants and that the person they are calling has warrants.

Harney County Sheriff’s Office wants the public to know that Law Enforcement do not call people to notify them of warrants.

If you receive a call like this hang up immediately and call Harney County Dispatch at 541-573-6156.
