Scam Alert in Malheur County

MALHEUR COUNTY(Released by the Malheur County Sheriff’s Office)-Scam Alert! Malheur County Dispatch has received several calls regarding a scam call. The scammers are claiming to be with the Malheur County Sheriff’s Office. The person identified as Sgt. Nelson is calling regarding an “Urgent Matter.”

If you receive a scam call, please do not provide any personal information and call the Malheur County Sheriff’s Office at 541-473-5126.
