Savannah Martin of Dayville is OAWU’s Rookie of the Year

DAYVILLE – Dayville City Councilor Robert Waltenburg was on KJDY’s Coffee Time recently, discussing the recent breaks and repairs in Dayville’s water system, and how the state has recognized Public Works Director Savannah Martin for her exemplary work in dealing with it all:
“They just recently had an Oregon Association of Water and Utilities convention…at Sunriver. Savannah was awarded the ‘Rookie of the Year’ for the State of Oregon. Big shout-out to her. She is just going nuts; just doing such a wonderful job for our city.”
Waltenburg also mentioned that the public works departments in Prairie City and John Day provided assistance and equipment during Dayville’s water crisis.
