Saint Alphonsus welcomes Baker City’s first baby of 2021

BAKER CITY – (Release by Saint Alphonsus) Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Baker City is pleased to announce the arrival of the first baby of 2021 at the Baker City hospital. 

Paycen Reece Preston was born on January 1, 2021 at 8:19 PM.  Weight 6lbs, 13oz and measuring 19 ¼” long.  He was born to Shelby & Joshua Preston.

To commemorate the hospital’s first baby of 2021, Saint Alphonsus presented Shelby, Joshua and Paycen with a reusable laundry basket/tote filled with baby clothes, a blanket, an Alphonzo Bear stuffed animal, and other items parents of newborns need and enjoy.
