 The Saint Alphonsus Nightingale Award celebrates RNs and LPNs who reflect the timeless ideals of the nursing profession and the mission-driven culture of Saint Alphonsus.

We would like to congratulate one of this year’s honorees at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Baker City. Cara is an exceptional Surgical Services nurse whose compassion, kindness, and patience are evident in every interaction with patients preparing for surgery. She consistently finds the good in every situation and extends that grace to each person in her care, no matter the circumstance.

Cara’s reverence for the dignity of every individual shines through in everything she does. She understands that great care extends beyond her own unit, and she regularly steps up to support other departments when a need arises.
