Safely dispose of old TV’s, computers, printers, and more

GRANT COUNTY – The Department of Environmental Quality is reminding citizens that during this spooky season, don’t let monsters stay lurking in your home.  Unused TV’s, computers, and printers can contain hazardous materials such as lead and mercury. 

If you have these items that are unused in your home, you can safely recycle them and keep hazardous material out of the air, soil and water. 

There are drop-off locations around the state including Burns, John Day and Baker City, just to name a few.
