PENDLETON โ An RV caught fire on Monday night on Southeast First Street in Pendleton, creating a blaze that could be seen around the downtown area.
Pendleton Fire and Ambulance received the call at 10:21 p.m., Chief Tony Pierotti says that three units were sent. No other structures were involved in the fire, and there were no injuries.
Witnesses say the RV was being backed out of a driveway when the fire began. On Tuesday morning there was a large, blackened area on the street extending out from the driveway. Photos show the half-charred RV being towed away during the night.
