Roughly 200 people attended the recent College, Career & Military Fair at La Grande High School

LA GRANDE — La Grande High School recently held a College, Career & Military Fair and organizers note that this year’s event was a huge success.
In total there were more than 40 tables set up with local business representatives, college representatives from Washington, Oregon and Idaho, as well as representatives from the Navy and Army.
According to Mindee Hayden with La Grande High School, there were local retailers, childcare resources, fire department, carpentry, utilities, and manufacturing representatives available to talk with students and community members.
In total about 200 people walked through over the course of the evening and talked with the reps. Hayden notes that CTE teachers took interested visitors on a tour of the LHS CTE facilities/classrooms, and the hospitality room was a big hit!
