“Road Rage” on I-84 results in arrest of Idaho man

BAKER COUNTY – A “Road Rage” incident along I-84 just west of Baker City recently led to the arrest of a Kuna, Idaho man. According to reports from Oregon State Police (OSP) in Baker County the vehicle, driven by 80-year-old Douglas Ole Olson was reported to be stopping on I-84 in front of other vehicles.

Olsen was located and a traffic stop was conducted. Olsen was detained and, in the process, a loaded handgun was discovered in his pocked. The handgun was seized as evidence.

Olsen was subsequently arrested by cite and release for Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering Person and Unlawful Possession of Firearm. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
