Riverside Park needs volunteers as playground construction continues

LA GRANDE — Construction on the new Riverside park playground is proceeding well, but the project could always use some extra hands. For anyone interested in volunteering next week, see the following update recently shared by Parks and Rec:
Riverside Park Playground is coming along! We are making good progress, but we are a little behind. Still anticipated to finish before the end of the month though. We could really use more volunteers next week to come out and help.
So if you like turning wrenches, being a holder, a mover, or just want to play a part in building the new playground come on out! We are out there everyday 7:30am – 4:30pm. Next week is supposed to be great weather too, so what better way to get outside and help!
