Richland man sentenced on child pornography charges

RICHLAND, Washington – Gerald Alan Nott, 63, of Richland has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to child pornography charges.
According to court documents, a detective developed information between December 2022 and March 2023 that Nott was using the internet at his parent’s home to distribute child pornography.
Detectives executed a search warrant and found more than 1,600 images and video files depicting young children, some aged approximately 1 to 4 years old, being sexually abused.
