Ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate Jefferson Park project

WALLA WALLA – The Jefferson Park picnic shelter project, funded by the city’s community development block grant program, has been completed with the installation of a ping-pong table and concrete cornhole set.

The project repurposes the former site of an aging swimming pool that had not been operated since 2016.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new facility, located at 750 Sprague Street, will be held at 1:15 p.m. Thursday.
