Rhonda McCumber will be the new PCSD Superintendent

PRAIRIE CITY – In the latest news out of Prairie City School District, a new Superintendent has been selected for the 2024-25 school year. Rhonda McCumber, current PC Elementary School Principal, has accepted the position. Grant County Education Service District Superintendent Robert Waltenburg was on KJDY’s Coffee Time recently, and broke the news to the listeners:

“In Prairie City, they’ve offered contract to Rhonda McCumber. She’s in the building; she’s knows the system, and so she’ll move forward and do good things.

I haven’t heard what they’re doing Principal-wise, they’ll need to fill that position. So, they’re moving forward!””
