Man jailed in Grant County for delivering meth near school

CANYON CITY – A man was recently sentenced to jail time and probation on meth and driving charges in Grant County Circuit Court. Rodney A Rookstool, 62, pleaded guilty to four counts of Delivery of Methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a School, as well as Conspiring to Deliver Methamphetamine and Criminal Driving While Suspended or Revoked.

Across two cases, Rookstool was sentenced to 50 days in jail and placed on Supervised Probation for 36 months. Two counts were disposed with no conviction.
