OREGON – In their latest recreation report, ODFW remind Oregonians that wolf sightings can be reported online. This includes both wolf activity and actual sightings of wolves.
The ODFW reporting system asks for the reporter’s contact information, date and time of the sighting, as well as location information. It is also asked that reporters provide a detailed description of the area (such as the nearest town or notable landmarks), a detailed description of the wolf or wolf sign (color, size, etc.) and a detailed account of the observation (such as the behavior of the wolf and how long it was seen for).
Reports can be made online at https://www.dfw.state.or.us/wolves/wolf_reporting_form.asp
