Reminder, La Grande’s March Community Blood Drive begins tomorrow

LA GRANDE & BAKER CITY – As a reminder, the 2025 La Grande March Red Cross Community Blood Drive begins tomorrow, March 18. The January 2025 Blood Draw already netted a record 281 units of blood donated, with La Grande’s Community Blood Draw coordinators, Linda and Sheldon Strand, hoping for a similar amount this month. The schedule for the upcoming draw is as follows:

La Grande

  • Tuesday, March 18
    • 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
    • Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
    • 1802 Gekeler Lane, La Grande.
  • Wednesday, March 19.
    • 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
    • Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
    • 1802 Gekeler Lane, La Grande.

Draws are also scheduled for Baker City month. Schedules and locations are as follows:

  • Monday, March 24
    • 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
    • Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
    • 2625 Hughes Ln, Baker City.
  • Tuesday, March 25
    • 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
    • Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
    • 2625 Hughes Ln, Baker City.

For those that can’t attend the upcoming march appointments, additional draws are also scheduled for April in La Grande. Schedules and locations are as follows
