OREGON โ Remember to set clocks back and enjoy an extra hour of government-approved sleep this Sunday. Daylight Saving Time will officially end at 2:00 a.m. Sunday, November 2nd, bringing brighter mornings and darker evenings as colder weather sets in. Some devices, such as smartphones, tablets, modern computers and other smart devices, will automatically adjust on their own (depending on set time zone) while others will need to be manually adjusted.
The Daylight Saving Time transition is observed in most of the continental and outlying United States, including Oregon. The territories of American Samoa, Guam, Norther Mariana Island, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, along with the state of Hawaii and most of the state of Arizona do not adhere to Daylight Saving Time, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation.
