WALLA WALLA – Appointments are available for a Johnson & Johnson mass vaccination clinic at the Walla Walla County Fairgrounds Wednesday. Meanwhile, all residents 16 and older can schedule appointments in advance. They will become eligible Thursday, so they are not eligible for the Wednesday clinic.
Gov. Jay Inslee will announce Monday if any counties have to be demoted to Phase 2 of the state’s reopening plan for COVID-19. Currently all of Washington’s counties are in Phase 3. Late last week, preliminary figures indicated that Walla Walla, Benton, and Franklin counties will remain in Phase 3.
Late last week, Inslee made it easier for counties to remain in Phase 3 of the Healthy Washington reopening plan. Instead of having to meet two metrics to remain where they are, they only have to meet one to remain where they are. Each county has a different set of numbers based on case counts and hospitalization rates.
