REDMOND(Release from Redmond Police Department)-In July 2024, detectives with the Redmond Police Department (RPD) received cyber-tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding online accounts distributing child sex abuse material. Over the following months, search warrants and subpoenas were served to online providers and as a result the operator of those accounts was identified as 27-year-old Hunter Slawosky of Redmond.
On October 31, 2024, RPD served a search warrant and arrested Mr. Slawosky at his residence, in the 300 block of SW 11th Street, in Redmond, Oregon. The arrest was for the crimes of Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse in the First and Second Degree. During the investigation, detectives also located evidence indicating there may be additional unidentified victims of Mr. Slawosky.
At this time, RPD is seeking the communityโs assistance in identifying other potential victims.
If you have any information on the investigation regarding Mr. Slawosky, please contact Detective Connor Keith of the Redmond Police Department, at 541-504-3480, or email him at connor.keith@redmondoregon.gov.
RPD would like to thank the NCMEC for assisting in identifying victims of online child sex abuse. RPD is proud to partner with agencies like NCMEC to work toward making Redmond the safest community in Oregon.
